About Us: We are a Maryland based full service landscape & waterscape company specializing in naturalistic water features, and unique outdoor spaces. Arbor Ridge was founded to fill a need for a full service company that truly cares about the details of every project and service.
	We are passionate about making your outdoor dreams a reality. Our award winning projects are recognized for the natural rock and boulder placement techniques which create unique one of a kind water features. Based on a family heritage in horticulture, water, and site design, we can custom design, construct, and maintain, the perfect waterscape & landscape for your home or business.

About the Owner:
Travis Dietle, owner and operator of Arbor Ridge Services and a native of scenic Kingsville Maryland, grew up exploring the outdoors and working in the family landscaping business. An avid whitewater kayaker and skier, he has always loved working on projects that captured the feeling of tranquility found in nature.

Why did you start Arbor Ridge?
Travis: "I wanted to bring a fresh approach to landscaping and use water features to emulate these amazing places that I experienced while enjoying the outdoors. I loved being outside, building and improving the way a property looked. I also enjoyed working with mechanical things and plumbing hydraulics so it made sense to start a company where I could combine my talents and love for waterfalls and streams."

What is the best part of designing and constructing a water feature?
Travis: "I love coming up with the initial concept for a design. Having a fresh area to design is always exciting and turning on the pumps for the first time is great. But, I think my favorite part is finishing the little details of a project and seeing how thrilled clients are with the final outcome."

What are some of your favorite things about a water feature?

Travis: "The sound of one of our mountain streams is the best. It melts away all the stress from a busy day. Coming home from work and hearing the gurgling and soothing sounds of a water feature is a treat at the end of the day. And to have that retreat in your own back yard to share with your family and friends is really special.

What do you like to do when you're not building waterfalls?
Travis: "I love to travel with my family and enjoy the outdoors. I'm always looking for new ideas and inspiration so I look forward to touring gardens like Chanticleer and Longwood.

Certifications: I am an Aquascape Certified Contractor having completed an in-depth application process that included referrals, a photo portfolio highlighting some of our water feature projects, and general questions regarding our business and water gardening philosophy. The application was then reviewed by Aquascape, Inc. technical agents and a review board of other established Certified Contractors.

Education: We are constantly attending education and training seminars to stay on the cutting edge of waterscape design and construction.
